4/27/2015 – FESTIVAL FARM TO TABLE DINNER FEATURES REGIONALLY INSPIRED CUISINE

April 27, 2015– LOUISVILLE, KY   – Regionally inspired cuisine takes center stage at tomorrow’s WineFest Farm to Table Dinner presented by Kentucky Proud.  This is the second year for the dinner, held from 6-8 p.m. on the Belvedere, adjacent to the Kentucky Proud WineFest.

The VIP ticket includes dinner in a formal outdoor setting and four-course meal.  This year’s menu includes Steckler Farm Cheese, Louisville Fish Company Kohlrabi-potato Brandade and Marksbury Farm Smoky Chicken Confit, all prepared by Harvest Restaurant.  Dessert is Jackknife’s Bourbon Ball Brownie by Cellar Door Chocolates.  Each course will be paired with Old 502 Winery, KDF’s Official Wine Partner.

The meal is 80% sourced locally from farms within a 100-mile radius, including Bourbon Barrel Foods, Field Day Farm and Louisville Fish company.

Tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling (502) 584-FEST.  Tickets include the dinner, as well as access to the WineFest venue for samplings and shopping, before and after dinner. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Homegrown by Heroes.
