Runners Can Win FREE Registration with Race for Rewards
August 13, 2014. Louisville, KY. – Registration for the 2015 Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon and miniMarathon presented by Walmart and HumanaVitality opens tomorrow, Thursday, August 14th. The largest annual day of road racing in Kentucky is set for Saturday, April 25, 2015, and will again be capped at 18,000 runners. Registration will be available online at www.derbyfestivalmarathon.com. Early registration fees are $60 for the mini and $70 for the Marathon through August 31.
Returning this year is a special promotion called “Race for Rewards,” which gives runners a chance to win free and discounted registrations. On Thursday, August 14, and August 28, during early registration, Kentucky Derby Festival race staff and 102.3 The Max will be set-up at different locations throughout the city. For a chance to win free or discounted registration, runners will need to follow clues to find each location. The clues will be given out each week via the Festival’s Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as announced on 102.3 The Max. Runner swag like technical shirts and other promotional items will also be given out at each location.
