March 1, 2023. Louisville, KY.  – One of the country’s premier retailers – Dillard’s – is bringing its fashion-forward looks to the runway as the new Title Sponsor for the Kentucky Derby Festival’s Spring Fashion Show. The national store’s Mall St. Matthews location will be in the spotlight at the annual style tradition, set for Thursday, March 30 at Caesars Southern Indiana. The evening kicks off with boutique shopping and cocktails at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the Fashion Show at 8 p.m.

“The Spring Fashion Show has been showcasing the hottest spring fashion trends for more than three decades and Dillard’s partnership will help us continue that tradition,” said Matt Gibson, Kentucky Derby Festival President and CEO. “From head to toe, fashion plays such an important role in the Derby season and if you want to know what to wear this year, you’ll see it on the runway.”

Dillard’s has been a go-to Louisville shopping destination for nearly 30 years and is a long-time partner of the Derby Festival.

The Dillard’s Spring Fashion Show will feature the latest fashions and accessories from Dillard’s, as well as several local boutiques. The theme of the 2023 show is “Lights, Camera, Louisville!”

TICKETS: Balcony tickets ($65) are still available and include hors d’ oeuvres and two drink tickets. Tickets can be purchased online at KDF.org. (Must be 21 or older to attend).

First produced in 1990, the Kentucky Derby Festival Fashion Show was originally conceived as a venue for unveiling the new Board of Director’s uniform, the teal Pegasus jacket.  It was so successful, the Board of Directors decided to make it a permanent addition to the Festival schedule. Thanks to the support of many retailers, the Spring Fashion Show has become THE fashion show for the season.
