Volunteer With Us!
Sign Up to Volunteer Here! It’s that simple! The Kentucky Derby Festival couldn’t produce our events without the help of our dedicated volunteers. The Festival itself would not be the grand civic celebration it has become without their selfless service.
To all our volunteers – THANK YOU!
From entertaining lost children at Thunder to hosting bands at the Zoeller Pump Company Pegasus Parade, volunteers serve on committees that work throughout the year to guarantee Festival fun and safety for the community. In addition, many serve on one-day events performing duties such as handing out water at the miniMarathon/Marathon, helping with PNC Tour de Lou Packet Pick-up or directing attendees around the track at the Great Bed Races.
Here are just a few of the events that need volunteers:
- Caesars Foundation FamFest
- PNC Tour de Lou Packet Pickup
- Dick’s Sporting Goods Race Expo
- GE Appliances mini & Marathon
- They’re Off! Luncheon
- Zoeller Pump Company Pegasus Parade

Each year we recognize one of our volunteers as the “Volunteer of the Year,” for their years of service and the time they’ve dedicated to helping the Festival.
