The Kentucky Derby Festival recognizes the importance of public health and safety – it is always the Derby Festival’s top priority and we appreciate everything that is being done for all of us. We want to do our part as well, and with an abundance of caution, have decided to postpone the 2020 Kentucky Derby Festival until later in the year.
The schedule may look a little different as we move things into a new timeframe, but there will be a Thunder Over Louisville, a miniMarathon, a Pegasus Parade, and many other events in between. As you can imagine, there are a lot of moving parts, and once we get all the details finalized, we will release a new schedule.
In 2020, the Chow Wagon will return to Waterfront Park on the Ohio River. The Miller Lite Music Stage will feature live concerts with local and regional entertainment and a wide variety of musical genres including jazz, R&B, country, rock and blues.
Where else can you find great food and live musical entertainment in a riverside setting for a 2020 Pegasus Pin admission? Meet your coworkers for lunch or come down for an evening concert. There’s no way to go wrong by making a visit to this great outdoor party.
Food at Chow Wagon – Feast on everything from corn dogs to turkey legs and elephant ears. The Chow Wagon will also feature ethnic varieties like Greek, Italian, and Mexican. There’s something for everyone!
Here’s a sampling of some of the food booth fare offered:
