Kentucky Derby Festival® Foundation Student Art Contest Presented by The Fillies, Inc.

The Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation Student Art Contest Presented by The Fillies, Inc. is open to students from public, private and parochial schools in all Kentucky counties, as well as Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana are invited to participate. Students who are not enrolled in art classes at their school may also create artwork at home, but entries must still follow all contest criteria and be submitted by the school.

Community art professionals serve as judges, awarding the winners of five divisions with medallions, certificates, and a Kentucky Derby Festival Student Art Contest Winner’s Pin. First-place winners also receive a 2017 Derby Festival framed poster and get to ride in the 2017 Republic Bank Pegasus Parade.

The Student Art Contest is Presented by The Fillies, Inc., with Contributing Sponsor Kentucky College of Art + Design and Media Sponsor, ArtxFM.
