2025 DILLARD’S SPRING FASHION SHOW A SELL-OUT
March 24, 2025. Louisville, KY. – The go-to fashion event of the spring season is headed down the runway this week! The Dillard’s Spring Fashion Show, the Derby Festival’s annual style tradition, is Thursday, March 27 at Caesars Southern Indiana. The sold-out show features boutique shopping and cocktails at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the Fashion Show at 8 p.m.
Dillard’s returns for the third consecutive year as the Title Sponsor of the 2025 Show. Christine Fellingham will once again produce the Derby season style soiree, themed “On Cloud 9,” which draws inspiration from the optimism and lightness in this season’s fashion trends.
Some of the 2025 spring style trends spotlighted in the show include:
- Sky and earth inspired palette
- Sheer and transparent fabrics
- Uber maxis
- Playful minis
- Power pantsuits with vests instead of jackets
- Gigantic ball skirts
The runway show features outfits and accessories from Dillard’s. Several local boutiques will also be featured, including Mamili Boutique, Pineapple Paisley Boutique, Sapphire on Spring Boutique and The Lovely Fig. Hats are by Rhorer Couture Millinery, the Derby Festival’s Official Hat Designer. Hair and make-up are provided by J Michael’s Spa & Salon. Some of the Festival’s Official Products will also be spotlighted, including Peake Ties. Models are from Heyman Talent Agency.
As the Title Sponsor, Dillard’s, a high-touch luxury fashion retailer and go-to local shopping destination for 30 years, will offer guests a luxury shopping experience, cosmetic touch-ups and a fun photo opportunity before the show, and also invite guests to shop the runway looks in person at Dillard’s at Mall St. Matthews.
First produced in 1990, the Kentucky Derby Festival Fashion Show was originally conceived as a venue for unveiling the new Board of Director’s uniform, the teal Pegasus jacket. It was so successful, the Board of Directors decided to make it a permanent addition to the Festival schedule. Thanks to the support of many retailers, the Spring Fashion Show has become THE fashion show for the season.
