April 29, 2024. LOUISVILLE, KY – Toast the Tuesday of Derby Week at the Commonwealth Credit Union WineFest. Enjoy a spring evening of sipping, savoring and strolling on Tuesday, April 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mellwood Art Center in the Van Gogh and DaVinci Rooms. Commonwealth Credit Union is the new Title Sponsor of the 2024 event.
Guests can sample from a line-up of more than 100 varieties of wine representing around 15 Kentucky wineries, including Old 502 Winery, the Official Wine & Sparkling Wine of the Derby Festival. Local cuisine, shopping at Mellwood stores and live entertainment are also part of the evening’s festivities.
A WineFest Program, featuring information on the participating wineries, will be distributed to patrons. Bottles of wine will be available for purchase from the featured wineries. A complete list of the participating wineries can be found online at KDF.org. The event is open to ages 21 and older.
General Admission tickets are $75 (includes wine tastings, light appetizers, an etched souvenir wine glass and a WineFest event pin). VIP tickets are $125 (includes one-hour early access starting at 5 p.m., VIP private area, Kentucky-inspired cuisine sampling, VIP gift, and an exclusive barrel wine tasting from Old 502 Winery). A limited number of Designated Driver tickets will be sold at the door and are $25 per person, includes entry and an event pin.
