Complete your virtual ride and submit your results anytime between April 16 – May 16, 2023.

Sign up for the virtual race and you’ll receive a complete toolkit with everything you need for a successful race. These include:

  • Official Ride t-shirt and swag
  • Digital Ride Bib from RideSignUp
  • Customizable Ride Certificate
  • Access to GPS routes to train or plan your ride distances

 

What is the Virtual Tour de Lou?   

The PNC Kentucky Derby Festival Tour de Lou is a non-competitive, un-timed bicycle tour that takes place through Louisville, KY.

We are again offering a virtual option for those wanting to participate in the PNC Tour de Lou on their own time. 

If you choose to ride Virtually, you can complete any distance of the PNC Tour de Lou on your own time, at your own pace. You can even choose your own route! Here’s How:  

  1. Register HERE.
  2. Get ready to ride 
    • You’ll receive a virtual bib in April prior to the ride on April 16, 2023
    • Need a route? Visit kdf.org/tourdelou to download a GPS  
  3. Get your SWAG 
    • Expect to receive your Official 2023 Virtual PNC Tour de Lou Rider SWAG pack in April  
  4. Ride any time between April 16 – May 16, 2023  
    • Log your ride results via BikeSignUp after April 16
  5. Share and Celebrate with #KYDerbyFestival!  

 

What is the Tour de Lou?   

The PNC Kentucky Derby Festival Tour de Lou is a non-competitive, un-timed bicycle tour that usually takes place through Louisville, KY.  

This year, we are again offering a virtual PNC Tour de Lou in addition to our in- person event  in order to allow riders to participate anywhere, and in any way they feel most comfortable.  

How long is the Virtual Tour de Lou?   

Riders will still get to choose the distance that best suits them. We have 20 miles, 35 miles and Metric Century (62.1 miles) options for your ride registration. 

Do I have to ride the Tour de Lou on April 16?    

No! You can choose a day and time that works for you, just make sure you complete your ride by May 16, 2023 [Submission form closes at midnight]. You can submit your results any time after April 16 via BikeSignUp. 

How do I get my ride packet and materials?   

For your convenience, we will be mailing all virtual participants their 2023 package.  You can expect to receive this in early-to-mid April, 2023. 

In order to receive your packet, make sure your address is up to date in BikeSignup. You can do this by logging into run sign up and checking your “rider profile”. 

What are my route options and how to I find them?   

One of the benefits of the virtual ride is that you can pick the route that YOU like best. Visit our Route Library HERE and find out more about how to get and download FREE GPS files and Turn-by-Turn directions in the dropdown below.
