April 24, 2015. Louisville, KY. – The Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation Academic Challenge Presented By Sullivan University is set for tomorrow at Male High School. Jefferson County Public Schools is producing this year’s quick-recall tournament scheduled for 8 AM to NOON.
“The Academic Challenge event is a great way to showcase the academic achievements of not only our local students, but also our public schools,” said Mike Berry, Kentucky Derby Festival President & CEO. “We’re excited to have it on our schedule in 2015.”
The Academic Challenge Presented by Sullivan University represents an opportunity for students from all over the county to test their acumen by answering questions pertaining to math, science, social studies, language arts and humanities. The competition will feature several teams from local middle schools.
