April 28, 2025. LOUISVILLE, KY – Toast the Tuesday of Derby Week at the Commonwealth Credit Union WineFest. Enjoy a spring evening of sipping, savoring and strolling on Tuesday, April 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Mellwood Art Center in the Van Gogh and DaVinci Rooms. Commonwealth Credit Union returns for the second year as the Title Sponsor of the event.

Guests can sample from a line-up of more than 100 varieties of wine representing nearly 20 Kentucky wineries. Local cuisine, shopping at Mellwood stores and live entertainment are also part of the evening’s festivities.

A WineFest Program, featuring information on the participating wineries, will be distributed to patrons. Bottles of wine will be available for purchase from the featured wineries. The event is open to ages 21 and older.

Tickets are still available. General Admission tickets are $75 (includes wine tastings, light appetizers, an etched souvenir wine glass and a WineFest event pin). VIP tickets are $125 (includes one-hour early access starting at 5 p.m., VIP private area, Kentucky-inspired cuisine sampling, VIP gift, and an exclusive barrel wine tasting from Old 502 Winery). A limited number of Designated Driver tickets will be sold at the door and are $30 per person, includes entry and an event pin.
