Thank You for your interest in performing in the 2025 Zoeller Pump Company Pegasus Parade! The deadline to apply for this year’s event is February 28, 2025.

This is an application for participation in the 2025 Zoeller Pump Company Pegasus Parade. The application is designed to provide our organization with important information about your organization’s proposed involvement.

If your group is accepted, the information on this form may be used for production and planning purposes.

PLEASE NOTE: A sketch or photo of your unit is required to complete the application.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The 2025 Zoeller Pump Company Pegasus Parade reserves the right to accept or reject any unit application. If your group is accepted for parade participation, you will receive a confirmation letter by March 28, 2025.

Among the most popular units in the Pegasus Parade are the large inflatable characters. The inflatable group that displays the most enthusiasm and spirit will take home an award.
Marching Bands of all sizes are selected based on the performance and quality of music, as well as the band’s overall presentation.
YOU MUST SUBMIT A PHOTOGRAPH OF YOUR GROUP AND/OR A VIDEO.

DUE TO THE INCREASE IN SPECIALTY UNIT APPLICATIONS, THIS APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE INTO THE PARADE NOR DOES PARTICIPATION IN PAST PEGASUS PARADES GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE FOR 2025.
Since the very beginning, floats have been a mainstay of the Pegasus Parade. Float units compete for awards from parade judges. Submit a self-built or commercial-built float.
Kentucky is the “Horse Capital of the World” and the Pegasus Parade is the perfect showcase for equestrian units.

Certificate of Insurance*
I understand that if our group is selected to participate, our group will be required to submit a certificate of insurance naming Kentucky Derby Festival & City of Louisville as additional insured. Your organization assumes responsibility for your participants.
This insurance can be purchased through the Kentucky Derby Festival for $100.

Example: Our Organization, XYZ will have a float decorated with various elements such as __________ to highlight this year's parade theme. We will have 6 people riding on the float and 10-15 people walking with it. Our float will be attached to a pick up truck. We plan to have family friendly music playing as we may our way down the route.

Applications must be submitted no later than February 28, 2025, and completed in full to be considered for acceptance. Each unit must fund its transportation, accommodations and all other expenses while in Louisville, KY.
Application is not a guarantee of acceptance. Once approved, any change in a unit’s original application must be approved by the Kentucky Derby Festival. Failure to secure prior approval will result in the removal of the variance or the entire unit from the parade route. Participants are responsible for ensuring that the use of any theme does not violate the copyright, service mark, trademark or intellectual property of others.
