VIP EXPERIENCE OFFERS ONE-OF-A-KIND VIEW OF THUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE
February 2, 2026. Louisville, KY. – Groundhog Day may have spring predictions, but the Kentucky Derby Festival already has a date on the calendar! Today marks 75 days until the Festival’s Opening Ceremonies, Thunder Over Louisville, set for Saturday, April 18. The event returns in 2026 with one of the nation’s top air shows, a drone show, and one of the country’s largest annual fireworks displays. Festival Fans can secure a front-row seat for the event at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport Thunder Over Louisville VIP Rooftop Party Presented by Kentucky Proud. This VIP access offers an exclusive view from a rooftop in the heart of the action in downtown Louisville. Tickets are available now at ThunderOverLouisville.org.

The Thunder VIP Rooftop Party is from 2:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Brook Street Garage Rooftop, 201 N. Brook St. General Admission tickets are $225 per person.
