DILLARD’S SPRING FASHION SHOW HITS THE RUNWAY ON MARCH 27

March 13, 2025. Louisville, KY. – Calling all fashion lovers, the go-to event for spring and Derby fashion trends is headed down the runway in just a couple of weeks! You can still get your tickets for the Dillard’s Spring Fashion Show, set for Thursday, March 27, at Caesars Southern Indiana. Themed “On Cloud 9,” this year’s show aims to capture the optimism and lightness in this season’s fashion trends. The evening kicks off with boutique shopping and cocktails at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the Fashion Show at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at KDF.org.

Dillard’s returns for the third consecutive year as the Title Sponsor of the 2025 show. “Dillard’s in Mall St. Matthews takes pride in being Louisville’s high-touch luxury fashion retailer of choice and is thrilled to partner in such an important piece of Louisville’s Derby heritage,” said George Tanner, Store Manager at Dillard’s Mall St. Matthews. “We look forward to an amazing event and a fantastic Derby season.”

This year’s show spotlights spring trends and looks ranging from uber maxis and playful minis to power pantsuits with vests and gigantic ball skirts. “Our goal, as always, is to inspire women to unleash their inner style, break some rules and choose clothes that make them feel beautiful and ready to take on Derby season and their lives with renewed energy and excitement,” said Christine Fellingham, Fashion Show Producer.

The runway show will feature outfits and accessories from Dillard’s. There will also be looks from several local boutiques, including Mamili Boutique, Pineapple Paisley Boutique, Sapphire on Spring Boutique and The Lovely Fig. Hats are from Rhorer Couture Millinery, the Derby Festival’s Official Hat Designer. Hair and make-up are provided by J Michael’s Spa & Salon. Some of the Festival’s Official Products will also be featured, including Peake Ties. Models are from Heyman Talent Agency.

As the Title Sponsor, Dillard’s will offer guests a luxury shopping experience, cosmetic touch-ups and a fun photo opportunity, and invite guests to shop the runway looks in person at Dillard’s at Mall St. Matthews.

First produced in 1990, the Kentucky Derby Festival Fashion Show was originally conceived as a venue for unveiling the new Board of Director’s uniform, the teal Pegasus jacket. It was so successful, the Board of Directors decided to make it a permanent addition to the Festival schedule. Thanks to the support of many retailers, the Spring Fashion Show has become THE fashion show for the season.
