TOASTING EVENT’S NEW TITLE SPONSOR – CHICKEN SALAD CHICK

May 1, 2023. LOUISVILLE, KY – The Kentucky Derby Festival is toasting the Derby and spring season with sipping, savoring and strolling at the Chicken Salad Chick WineFest on Tuesday, May 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. Chicken Salad Chick is the new Title Sponsor of the 2023 event, which also has a new home this year at the Mellwood Art Center in the Picasso and Monet Rooms.

Guests can sample from a line-up of more than 100 varieties of wine representing more than 15 Kentucky wineries, including Old 502 Winery, the Official Wine & Sparkling Wine of the Derby Festival. Local cuisine, a variety of offerings from Chicken Salad Chick, shopping at Mellwood stores and live entertainment are also part of the evening’s festivities.

“The Kentucky Derby Festival is one of the most exciting events in the country and Chicken Salad Chick is thrilled to be a part of it,” said Tom Carr, Chief Marketing Officer for Chicken Salad Chick. “It’s a great opportunity for us to share our brand with new people and build our footprint in the Louisville market.”

A WineFest Program, featuring information on the participating wineries, will be distributed to patrons. Bottles of wine will be available for purchase from the featured wineries. A complete list of the participating wineries can be found online at KDF.org. The event is open to ages 21 and older. General Admission and VIP tickets are SOLD OUT. A limited number of Designated Driver tickets will be sold at the door and are $15 per person, includes entry and an Event Pin.
