ENJOY AN AFTERNOON OF FAMILY-FRIENDLY FUN
June 3, 2025. Louisville, KY.- Kentucky Derby Festival fun returns this weekend! The first-ever Zoeller Pump Company ParadeFest is a new event celebrating the Pegasus Parade and is filled with fun for the entire family. It’s set for Saturday, June 7, from Noon to 4 p.m. at Zoeller Pump Company.
“We’re keeping the spirit of the Kentucky Derby Festival going this weekend with the new Zoeller Pump Company ParadeFest,” said Matt Gibson, Kentucky Derby Festival President & CEO. “We hope fans will join us for an afternoon of family-friendly activities and Festival fun!”
Children can enjoy inflatables, arts and crafts, food and more. The inaugural ParadeFest will take place at Zoeller Pump Company, 3649 Cane Run Road. Admission is free. (The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 5, but was rescheduled due to inclement weather).
Zoeller Pump Company sponsors the Pegasus Parade, and is also sponsoring the new ParadeFest.
“Being able to still celebrate the Festival season and get our summer off to a great start is exciting for us at Zoeller,” said Dwight Newton, Chief People Officer of Zoeller Pump Company. “ParadeFest is the event to help wrap up the Pegasus Parade and celebrate with the Louisville community.”

2025 marked the 70th year for the Zoeller Pump Company Pegasus Parade, which is the founding event of the Kentucky Derby Festival. The first Parade was produced in 1956 to create a way for the community to celebrate before the Derby horse race. It was organized by just a handful of volunteers on a budget of $640 and has become one of the Festival’s largest events with an estimated economic impact of $22 million.
