November 30, 2016. Louisville, KY. – The Kentucky Derby Festival is getting in the holiday spirit and offering special ticket packages for some of the 2017 events. The ticket packages go on sale December 1, at KDF.org and include three of the Festival’s popular social events: Festival Unveiled Presented by Citizens Union Bank and Four Roses Bourbon, BeerFest Presented by American Founders Bank and the Kentucky Proud WineFest. The ticket packages are all under $50 and include food and drink sampling, plus souvenirs.
“These ticketed events sell out quickly every year, so this is a great opportunity to get your ticket in advance or give one to your favorite Festival Fan,” said Mike Berry, Kentucky Derby Festival President & CEO.
2017 Derby Festival Holiday Ticket Packages:
- Festival Unveiled Presented by Citizens Union Bank and Four Roses Bourbon on March 2, 2017. $40 Package includes sampling and judging of the Rose Julep Contest, dinner and a personalized 2017 Official Kentucky Derby Festival Poster.
- BeerFest Presented by American Founders Bank on May 3, 2017. $45 Package includes tastings of over 150 spring and summer beers, a sampling glass and BeerFest Event Pin.
- Kentucky Proud WineFest on May 2 & 3, 2017. $45 Package includes sampling of over 100 Kentucky and Indiana Wines, a souvenir wine glass, WineFest event pin and food tasting demonstrations.
The holiday promotion is available online only and for a limited time through December 16, while supplies last. Purchase at KDF.org beginning Wednesday, December 1.
The Derby Festival is an independent community organization supported by 4,000 volunteers, 400 businesses and civic groups, Pegasus Pin sponsorships and event participation. It entertains more than 1.5 million people annually. This involvement has made the Festival the largest single attended event in Kentucky and one of the leading community celebrations in the world.
