This premier tasting event, featuring an eclectic lineup of over 40 of Louisville’s best eateries and 20 beverage vendors, will be held at Louisville Slugger Field on April 9 at 5:30 pm.
The event features Louisville’s most exciting restaurants offering tasting portions of their finest creations. Expected again this year are Martini’s Italian Bistro, Bourbons Bistro, Fork & Barrel, Mesh, Brasserie Provence, the Seelbach Hotel, and many more. Kentucky’s top bourbon distilleries and beverage companies will be on hand to provide samples of their wares. The evening will include Old Forrestor’s Mint Julep tasting. Event goers will also enjoy a Spirits Pull and an expanded Wine Pull.

This fun-filled event provides more than just an enjoyable evening and kick off to the Kentucky Derby Festival as it’s Dare to Care’s largest fundraiser of the year. The Taste of Derby Festival raises enough funds to provide over a quarter million meals to struggling families in Kentuckiana.

“Kentuckiana’s need for food assistance remains at a startling level, with one in six families lacking the food they need for a healthy life,” said Brian Riendeau, Dare to Care Executive Director. “This year, the event is especially critical. Only with events like Taste of Derby Festival and partners like Brown-Forman Corporation can Dare to Care continue to provide nutrition and hope to the tens of thousands of our neighbors who rely on us.”

Tickets to Taste of Derby Festival are only $85 and include all food and drink for the night. They can be purchased at www.tasteofderbyfestival.org. Advance sales only, no tickets will be sold at the event. Attendees must be 21 years old or older.
