2/27/2015 – MCDONALD’S® RESTAURANTS OF KENTUCKIANA ANNOUNCES NEW THUNDER PROMOTION

THUNDER INSIDERS TO GET INSIDE SCOOP ON THE SHOW

February 27, 2015. Louisville, KY. – Starting next month, Thunder fans will have a chance for an exclusive “inside” look at the show thanks to McDonald’s® Restaurants of Kentuckiana and their new Thunder Insider program. To become a McDonald’s Thunder Insider, fans will need to get the special code from any McDonald’s restaurant.  No purchase is required.  Simply enter that code at www.ThunderOverLouisville.org/McDInsider.  Everyone who signs up will receive “Insider” communication about the upcoming air show and fireworks spectacular set for Saturday, April 18. In addition, those fans will be entered to win a chance for themselves and a guest to be a VIP at the 2015 Thunder Over Louisville show.  Winners will be drawn and contacted on April 3. This year’s Thunder theme – “Boom With A View” – is play on the senses, referencing all that fans hear and see on Thunder day.  The 2015 Thunder air show will also feature appearances by the U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds, as well as the U.S. Army’s Parachute Team, the Golden Knights.

Thunder Over Louisville – the Derby Festival’s Opening Ceremonies – is one of nearly 70 events produced by the Derby Festival in the spring. The 2015 Thunder Over Louisville, themed “Boom With A View,” is set for Saturday, April 18, and will be the  will be the 26th annual production.
