April 26, 2019. Louisville, KY. – Passport GospelFest, Kentucky Derby Festival’s gospel choir showcase, returns on Sunday, April 28. This year’s musical event will be held once again at St. Stephen Church in Louisville. The show begins at 3 p.m. with performances until 6 p.m. Admission is a 2019 Pegasus Pin.
Packed with powerful performances, Passport GospelFest will showcase choirs from around the region, with some new and some returning favorites. This year’s performers include the Corinthian Gospel Choir, Harrod’s Creek Baptist Church Choir, TNG St. Stephen Youth Choir, Kingdom Fellowship Praise Team, Bates Mass Choir, The Atmosphere Changers with National Recording Artist Jason Clayborn, Michael Young and In God’s Presence, Elder Tommy Jones and Christian Mass & Friends, First G Dancer, Divine Intervention, and Psalmist Kenneth Babino, of Beaumont, TX.

The Derby Festival is an independent community organization supported by 4,000 volunteers, 400 businesses and civic groups, Pegasus Pin sponsorships and event participation. It entertains more than 1.5 million people annually. This involvement has made the Festival the largest single attended event in Kentucky and one of the leading community celebrations in the world.
