April 20, 2015. Louisville, KY. – Kids can run, jump and climb their way to the finish at this year’s miniFun Run Presented by HumanaVitality and Subway Restaurants. New for 2015, the third annual kids’ fitness event will feature an inflatable obstacle course that participants will have the opportunity to tackle multiple times. Geared toward children ages 4 to 14, the event is set for Sunday, April 26, on the North Great Lawn inside Kroger’s Fest-a-ville.
Entry fees are $15 in advance or $18 day of event. Children who have parents registered in the Marathon/miniMarathon will receive a discounted entry fee of $12 with proof of registrant. Registration is still available online at www.DerbyFestivalMarathon.com or by calling (502) 584-FEST. Late registration and packet pick-up will be available on-site the day of the event from 2:30 PM – 4 PM.
Packet pick-up and registration will be available at Race Expo on April 23 and 24 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in room 2D. Participants will receive a special medal, race bib, t-shirt, and one complimentary Pegasus Play-Ville ride ticket.

Since 1956, the Derby Festival has worked to bring the community together in celebration. The Festival is an independent community organization supported by 4,000 volunteers, 400 businesses and civic groups, Pegasus Pin sponsorships and event participation. This involvement has made the Festival the largest single-attended event in Kentucky and one of the leading community celebrations in the world.
