EVENT TO SHOWCASE CRAFT BREWERIES
April 28, 2014 – LOUISVILLE, KY – The Kentucky Derby Festival BeerFest presented by American Founders Bank returns this year and will be held on Wednesday, April 30, inside Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront. Regional and national breweries in Kentuckiana will be showcased at the event from 6 PM – 9 PM. Guests will be able to sample over 90 different craft beers.
Tickets are $40 and include the beer tastings, a commemorative sampling mug and a Kentucky Derby Festival BeerFest pin. (21 and over only. Must present ID upon entry.) This event will be held rain or shine. Tickets are still available by calling (502) 584-FEST and online at www.kdf.org.

Since 1956, the Derby Festival has worked to bring the community together in celebration. The Festival is an independent community organization supported by 4,000 volunteers, 400 businesses and civic groups, Pegasus Pin sponsorships and event participation. This involvement has made the Festival the largest single-attended event in Kentucky and one of the leading community celebrations in the world.
