April 30, 2016 Louisville, KY. This is the schedule for SATURDAY’S Festival activities.

Quick recall competition:

KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL FOUNDATION ACADEMIC CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY SULLIVAN UNIVERSITY.  8 AM – 3 PM. Male High School. A quick recall competition for elementary school students.  Produced by Jefferson County Public Schools.  A Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation Event.  For more information contact Doug Wilham at (502) 485-3702.  Sponsor: Sullivan University.

The party continues at Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville and the Chow Wagon:

KROGER’S FEST-A-VILLE ON THE WATERFRONT. Open Daily 11 AM – 11 PM, except Sunday 12 PM – 11 PM. Waterfront Park.  ULTIMATE ENTERTAINMENT EXPERIENCE featuring concerts with national talent, family fun, food, kids’ inflatable playground, midway rides and more. Fitness and Bodybuilding Competition:

KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL NPC DERBY CHAMPIONSHIPS.  Prejudging 11:30 AM.  Finals 7 PM. Community Drum lines at the Kentucky Center:

KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL DA’VILLE CLASSIC DRUM LINE SHOWCASE.  2 PM. Whitney Hall, The Kentucky Center.  Admission is $10. Tickets available at Kentucky Center Box Office. Ducks at the Waterfront:

KENTUCKY DERBY FESTIVAL KEN-DUCKY DERBY. 4 PM – 8PM. Call to the post 7 PM. Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront.  Admission is free with a 2016 Pegasus Pin®. See the launch of 20,000 ducks into the Ohio River for a chance to race and compete for prizes.
