Blue Angels arrive for thunder
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels Flight Squadron will arrive on Thursday, April 10, at 10 a.m. for their performance in Thunder Over Louisville. Their C-130, also known as Fat Albert, is scheduled to arrive at 9 a.m. The Squadron will arrive at 10 a.m. in their trademark F/A-18 Hornets.
This is not a press conference, but the Blue Angels will be available for interviews. PLEASE NOTE: This will be the best opportunity for media coverage and interviews with the Blue Angels during Thunder week.
Thunder Over Louisville – the Derby Festival’s Opening Ceremonies – is one of the more than seventy events produced by the Derby Festival in the spring. The 2014 Thunder Over Louisville is set for Saturday, April 12, and will be the 25th annual production.
