6/12/19 – DERBY FESTIVAL FUN RETURNS ON FRIDAY

FamFest is June 14 in New Albany

June 12, 2019. Louisville, KY.- The Kentucky Derby Festival returns to Southern Indiana this Friday, for one day only! The second annual Horseshoe Foundation FamFest is set for Friday, June 14, in Downtown New Albany. The event was originally scheduled for April 19 but was postponed due to inclement weather. The Festival is teaming up with the Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County for the free family-friendly event. It will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. next to the YMCA located at 47 Pearl Street.

“Horseshoe Foundation FamFest has a little bit of everything fans love about Derby Festival,” said Mike Berry, Kentucky Derby Festival President and CEO. “It will be fun for the whole family!”

Highlights of the event include autographs with the 2019 Royal Court, inflatables, mini golf, a miniature bed racing course, face painting and more. Plus, the first 1,000 attendees will also receive a custom Pegasus Pin.
