May 2, 2022. LOUISVILLE, KY – Over a dozen wineries from Kentucky and Southern Indiana will be showcased at this year’s Kentucky Proud WineFest on Tuesday, May 3. Sip and savor dozens of wines at the event, which has moved to a new location this year and will take place at Louisville Slugger Field, where you will be able to walk the concourse while sampling your favorite wines. The event is open from 5-9 p.m.
Kentucky Proud cooking demonstrations will be highlighted during the sampling event with Farmer & Frenchman and paired with wine from Old 502 Winery, KDF’s Official Wine Partner. There will also be shopping featuring Kentucky Proud vendors offering items to sample and purchase.
General Admission tickets are still available and are $50 and include wine tastings, appetizers, cooking demonstrations, a souvenir glass and a WineFest pin. Designated Driver tickets are $15. Tickets are available by calling (502) 584-FEST or online at KDF.org. Open to ages 21 and older.
A WineFest Program, featuring information on the participating wineries, will be distributed to patrons. Bottles of wine will be available for purchase from the featured wineries. A complete list of the participating wineries can be found online at KDF.org.
